Modern Language Aptitude Test

The Center For Disability Services offers the Modern Language Aptitude Test (MLAT) to assess whether a student should pursue further testing for a language-related learning disability. Students having difficulty with their foreign language classes and those interested in language alternatives can use this as a screening process to determine their level of difficulty in learning a foreign language.

The MLAT takes between an hour and an hour and a half and is offered several times each semester. Students unable to attend one of the scheduled MLAT sessions may request to take the test at another time.
