Math Alternatives
Are course alternatives (math) allowed based on a disability?
Math alternatives are allowed under some circumstances as a result of assessment of information provided by the student that supports the case that the student would not be able to pass the course, even with reasonable, appropriate accommodations. Courses essential to a student's major will not be considered for substitution. Students interested in pursuing the possibility of math alternatives must schedule a meeting with the Center for Disability Services.
Advisors can access the list Math/Logic Alternative courses to assist students that have been approved for the accommodation. Please note that the courses will also be avaialble to view within the student's DegreeWorks page.
